AGI isn't real

AGI = AI that can do anything you ask with almost zero human intervention

I think we can all agree on this definition.

The problem is that it means nothing. The definition is too vague.

At no point can you ever claim to have fulfilled the definition. At any point you can claim to have fulfilled some criteria of the definition.

This is stereotypical pseudo-science. Perfectly unclear enough so the definition can be molded to any agenda.

So let't stop talking about it. It is useless as a communication device. It is not something we can use right now. And I't am tired of hearing people with no talk about it when they have no clue what they are even talking about.
